I like to inform you that last Saturday 27th of February, an earthquake rating a magnitude of 8.8 affected Chile.
Until now the exact number of deaths is unknown but there is an estimate of 780 deaths and 2.000.000 victims. According to international information, great part of the coast is still flooded. The government of President Bachelet declared curfew in most parts of the country due to the disorder and the pillages in the affected areas because many desperate people started to plunder stores in order to get some food.
We ask for your collaboration through the international red cross which will soon be in charge of facilitating your help to the affected Chilean population.
